Meg Phillips joined the Kislak Center for Special Collections, Rare Books and Manuscripts in August 2025 as the inaugural Elizabeth A. R. Brown Archivist. In that role, she is collecting, organizing, and describing the papers of medievalists and their associations for the new Elizabeth A. R. Brown Medieval Historians Archive. This is an important new collecting area for Penn that will complement the Kislak Center's existing collections of medieval manuscripts.

Meg is a Certified Archivist with a BA in History from Haverford College, an MA in Medieval History from the University of Chicago, and an MLS from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  She came to Penn from the National Archives and Records Administration.
