Mia manages the direction and operations of the Fisher Fine Arts Library. She leads all aspects of Fine Arts Library collection development, working collaboratively with Fisher staff on collection management. Together with the Assistant Director and Fine Arts Librarian, she designs and implements innovative user-centered services and promotes engagement with a diverse and interdisciplinary faculty, student body, and university community. As a subject librarian, Mia participates in Libraries initiatives to support authors and publishing and in cross-Libraries programming. 

Previously, Mia was Assistant Director of the Fine Arts Library. Prior to joining Penn Libraries, she worked at the University's Penn Program for Environmental Humanities, the New York Society Library, and the New York Botanical Garden, and served as a Kress Fellow in Art Librarianship at Yale University for the Arts Library and Yale Center for British Art.

Mia holds an MLIS and graduate certificate in museum studies from the University of South Florida and a BFA in painting from the University of Florida. Her research interests include modern and contemporary art, history of the book and printing, natural history, and fashion history.
