Rosie works on social media, work-study student support, digital programming, and coordinating the Libraries' school partnerships.

Rosie came to the Libraries following her work with the Philadelphia Film Society as the Education and Community Programming Manager, where she oversaw and facilitated the Albert M. Greenfield Student Screening Series, ran the Philadelphia Film Festival Field Trip program, and helped to grow the Movies on the Block Series throughout Philadelphia. Previously, she worked with the Netter Center for Community Partnerships, where she led and designed curriculum for the pilot Teen Reading Lounge at West Philadelphia High School (WPHS), organized and facilitated an internship program for high school students, and facilitated library programming at WPHS through her work with Penn students. She has also worked as a volunteer tutor with Mighty Writers and has experience working with students on authoring their own stories through zine creation.

 

Rosie graduated from Earlham College with a degree in Sociology/Anthropology and earned a M.S.Ed in Education, Culture, and Society from the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education.
