Betsey is a first-year master’s student in the MSSP+DA program at the School of Social Policy & Practice. She has academic training in Python and Stata and applied multiple regression analysis in her undergraduate paper, From Competition to Containment: U.S.-China AI Rivalry and Its Implications for Great Power Competition. The highlight of her experience was combining statistical software with international relations research to generate policy-relevant insights. Currently, she is expanding her skills in R and looks forward to deepening her expertise in data analysis and visualization throughout her graduate studies.
