How to Use the Microform Readers

Items in the microtext collection are included in the Penn Libraries catalog. Search the catalog for the item you are interested in viewing and use the call number to locate the film in the microtext center shelving. You can then use the machines to create a PDF that can be sent via email or saved to a USB flash drive. There are no printers connected to these machines.

Both microform readers are on adjustable tables for sit/stand access.

If you would like to have a staff member show you how to use the machines, please fill out our appointment request form. Once we receive your request, we will get back to you to schedule a date a time.
