Hechtman Recording Studio
The Hechtman Studio is open to all students, faculty, and staff at the University of Pennsylvania. It is a not a study room, practice room, etc. and cannot be reserved for non-media production use.
Its intent is to support student and faculty experimentation and to aid the development of skills in the areas of video and audio production and photography.
Additional equipment may be borrowed from the Vitale Digital Media Lab.
For the Spring 2017 semester, the studio is open free of charge Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 11am-7pm, by reservation only.
You may reserve and use the recording studio only if:
- The recording equipment in the room will be staffed by a Recording Studio engineer; or
- At least one person in your group using the room has been trained by a Recording Studio engineer.
