Business Collection
In 1881, American entrepreneur and industrialist Joseph Wharton established the world’s first collegiate school of business at the University of Pennsylvania. In 1927, with a gift from Joanna Wharton Lippincott, daughter of Joseph Wharton, the Lippincott Library of the Wharton School was created to support the research and scholarly needs of the business school.

Located in Van Pelt-Dietrich Library Center, Lippincott Library maintains a continually evolving collection of materials with access to data, journals, books, news, analyst reports, market research, and more.
Collection Description
The Lippincott Library collection includes materials related to Wharton's research and pedagogical concentrations. These include:
