Librarians' Assembly

Charge

"The purpose of the Assembly shall be to promote the professional development of its members and to provide for their advisory participation in the processes of determining appropriate objectives and formulating policies for the University Libraries.

The Assembly shall serve as a forum for discussion of library-related matters and shall carry out such programs as it determines are needed and useful. It shall identify its members as a professional group whose primary function is to contribute to the excellence of the University of Pennsylvania Libraries.

The Assembly shall promote participation of its members in University affairs."
