David Nerenberg
David has primary responsibility for the Libraries' nearly $86 million annual operating budget and endowment valued at over $150 million. He also oversees all administrative services. David works to create consistency in Libraries policies and to develop best practices in organizational management.
David came to the Libraries with 20 years of experience in higher education, nonprofit, and public sector finances, most recently as Executive Director of Finance for Penn Dental Medicine. He has also served as interim CFO and director of finance at Curry College, where he oversaw the development of an annual operating and capital budget in excess of $85 million, and as director of budget and planning at Wheaton College. Before his years in New England, David was the Director of Resource Planning in Penn's Budget Office.
David holds a Master's degree in public affairs from the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin, and a B.A. in political science from Binghamton University (the State University of New York).
