AI Literacy Interest Group: Student Debate & Showcase on Gender and Technology

This day's sessions introduce AI Literacy Interest Group, focusing on the relationship between AI, gender, multilingualism, & the environment. The lightning talks will be followed by a round table discussion, then a showcase of the rare book manuscripts with these themes. Stick around for fun activities and socializing.

This is a Multidisciplinary Tech Literacy Interest Group. Attendees are not required to use AI or study Machine Learning to drop by. There are no disciplinary bounds. The only prerequisites are curiosity and enthusiasm for learning. You are welcome to join us for particular sessions or for the entire event.

  • Talking about a range of topics in AI with confidence. 
  • Questioning the current systems in place critically.

  • Participating in a dialogue as scholars, students, citizens, communities, policymakers, and the public at large.
