In this interactive session, we will explore ways to support student learning by integrating AI into teaching, setting expectations, and encouraging open dialogue around student AI use. You will learn how to determine whether AI supports specific pedagogical goals and leave with actionable strategies to leverage AI in teaching and course design. This workshop is ideal for faculty and instructional staff who have a basic understanding of generative AI tools.

To fully engage in the learning activities, please bring a laptop. Lunch will be provided.

As a member of CETLI's instructional design and technology team, Rachel (she/her) collaborates with instructors and academic units to support the effective use of instructional technology tools, artificial intelligence, and other emerging technologies to align with evidence-based teaching and learning practices. She partners with Penn schools and centers to support all phases of instructional technology adoption, from identifying promising tools through piloting, implementation at scale, technical support and education, and continuing evaluation.
