In this skills-focused workshop, you will use generative AI tools to make common workplace tasks easier and more efficient. You will learn to craft effective prompts and identify use cases where AI does or does not add value to your work. No technical background is needed – just curiosity about how you might work smarter with AI.

To fully engage in the learning activities, please bring a laptop. Refreshments will be provided.

John Mulhern III

Principal Technology Advisor | ISC

John Mulhern III has worked at the University of Pennsylvania for almost 35 years. He is currently Principal Technology Advisor, leading University-wide client architecture planning, testing, and implementation, developing standards, and tracking emerging technologies. John also manages technical vendor relations, interacting extensively with the University’s technology vendors, providing extensive feedback on products and services, and testing pre-production hardware and beta software.

Information Technology Director | ISC

Jeanine Kleba is an IT Director in Penn’s Information Systems and Computing division, leading AI and process optimization initiatives. She heads the Penn SecureIT program, co-leads the ISC AI Exploration Team, and co-chairs the university’s AI Special Interest Group. A thought leader in higher ed AI, she helped found a Higher Ed AI Collaboration group, serves on the planning committee for the AI Forum at Notre Dame, and partners with campus units to deliver practical AI training. A master's graduate from the University of Pennsylvania, Jeanine combines academic insight with operational strategy to advance Penn’s mission.
