Coffee with a Codex: Theological miscellany

An informal lunch or coffee time to meet virtually with Kislak curators and talk about one of the manuscripts from Penn's collections. Each week we'll feature a different manuscript and the expertise of one of our curators. Everyone is welcome to attend.

On June 5, Curator Dot Porter brought out will bring out Ms. Codex 696, a collection of theological texts written in Germany between approximately 1250 and 1399. It contains texts by a variety of authors including Bernard of Clairvaux, Pope Innocent III, and Saint Anselm, and is written in at least five different hands. (OPenn, BiblioPhilly, CWAC Recording)
