Excel Basics: Visualize Data

Want images that speak louder than words? Practice a process for visualizing data in Microsoft Excel so you can communicate your findings in class and on the job.

  1. Select visualization types with purpose​
  2. Format data to support Excel's charts​
  3. Customize visualizations for effective communication

Prerequisites:

  • Install Excel (for Windows) on your PC before attending, or use Lippincott Library's on-site computers.
  • Be comfortable creating pivot tables.
