Hearing the term "Generative Artificial Intelligence" but not sure what it is or how to use it? Or have concerns and want to know about resources at Penn? This workshop will orient you to some materials to get the lay of the Gen AI landscape. This is an in-person, beginner-friendly, and non-technical workshop.
What you will learn in this session:
- Identifying Gen AI
- Short Introduction to Gen AI Tools
- Gen AI Errors & Biases
- Environmental, Copyright, Socio-Technical Concerns
- Evaluating Gen AI
Prerequisites:
- Some familiarity with Gen AI concepts
- It will be helpful to go through the Libguide focused on AI Tools and Best Practices

- No software installation required
