March Madness BattleBot Build
Are you interested in building a robot vehicle? Does competing in a robot showdown sound exciting? If so, join our 8 teams that will be assembling laser-cut battlebots to compete in our first-ever March Madness Battlebot Build and Competition event.
This event has already occurred
Each team will be responsible for constructing a kit vehicle that will be challenged in battles, obstacles and much more. Participants will get to build, personalize, and drive their way to prove their robot is best. Winner(s)(?!) will be awarded a mini flying drone with indoor obstacle kit made by the Education Commons Library. No experience is necessary, but space is limited! Sign up soon if you’d like to participate.
Want to compete but can't make it on this date? Sign up for the second build session on March 20.
Missed the signup or just want to watch from the sidelines? Join us on March 27 to see the battlebots in action and cheer on your favorites, and follow the Penn Libraries on Twitter and Instagram to get a sneak peek at the competing bots before the big match. You'll have a chance to win prizes by correctly predicting which bots will win!
