TRIP Database Now Available through Penn Libraries

The clinical search engine TRIP (Turning Research Into Practice) is now available to Penn students, staff, and faculty. TRIP offers high-quality research evidence making it a valuable resource for clinical practice and patient care.
- The Evidence Pyramid color-codes search results based on their credibility. Green or blue markings indicate peer-reviewed sources, such as systemic reviews, while orange or yellow markings indicate non-peer reviewed sources such as online textbooks.
- The Mind Map is an interactive diagram that breaks down search terms into subbranches.
- PICO breaks down research questions into keywords based on Population (Patient), Intervention (Treatment), Comparison (Alternative), and Outcome (Effects or Results).
- Monthly Evidence Reports and Blog Posts keep users informed about newly added research, platform tips, and other updates.
