About Our Collections

Our collections represent the Penn Libraries’ vast information resources as well as the preservation of those resources in many forms. Books, journals, and other printed and digital materials join carefully curated artifacts of cultural and human heritage to advance research and scholarship at Penn and beyond.

One child on the left bends forward watching a turtle standing upright on its hind legs, while a child on the right plays a horn. A label at the top reads: “Eckstein Brush Co., Henry D. Moore, Jr., 412 Arch St., Philad’a.” The image is printed in blue and cream inks with a textured, nineteenth-century lithograph style.
