K-12 Programs

At the Penn Libraries, we are striving to rebuild and restore public school libraries in the School District of Philadelphia consciously and intentionally. Week seek to help school libraries evolve beyond foundational elements and transition into spaces and programming that act as a bridge between school libraries and public or academic library systems. To do so, we have created a collaborative model for facilitating library spaces, while also expanding access to Penn Libraries special collections in classrooms.

Below you will find resources for K-12 teachers and school administrators, as well as information about getting involved in our school library partnerships.
