Floor Plans: Van Pelt-Dietrich Library Center

Located on Blanche P. Levy Park across from College Hall, the Van Pelt-Dietrich Library Center serves all University of Pennsylvania students, faculty, and staff. It houses five of Penn's library locations: the Albrecht Music Library, Kislak Center for Special Collections, Rare Books and Manuscripts, Lippincott Library of the Wharton School, Zilberman Family Center for Global Collections, and the Weigle Information Commons. It is also home to the Penn Libraries' main administrative offices, as well as major study, event, and exhibit spaces.

The main entrance to Van Pelt requires walking up eight stairs. The building's accessible entrance opens into the Goldstein Undergraduate Study Center on the ground floor. A wheelchair-accessible doorbell is located on the railing leading toward the door.

Note: In preparation for the Zilberman Family Center for Global Collections renovation, materials on the fifth floor of the Van Pelt-Dietrich Library Center have been temporarily moved to our off-site storage facility. These materials can be requested through the library catalog and delivered to any library location.
