The Penn Libraries' Digital Fabrication Lab served as the epicenter of innovation for the prototype that would launch the startup company Baleena. 

The International Journal for Water, Equity and Justice (IJWEJ), an open access, digital publication of The Water Center at Penn and the Global Water Alliance (GWA), recently relaunched with a new scope, name, and digital platform, with the support of the Penn Libraries. With sustainability as a core concern the journal has just navigated an initial cycle of publication on a new digital platform.

The collection houses over 9,000 different material samples that possess varying degrees of sustainable, renewable, or otherwise environmentally friendly origins.

The Penn Libraries is providing a broad array of resources to help support teaching, learning, and research across all the disciplines of climate change.

The BHL's image-rich collections and deliberately inclusive scope make it a resource for researchers working in the sciences, the visual arts, history, global studies, and more.

With the help of library staff, the initiative is now able to track how faculty research aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
